  • Elizabeth Pratt is Sapper John Pratts mother. May Thurtell lived in the Endway so we can assume that the men you mention are her relatives.

  • Do you know if May Thurtell was a relative of Lance Serjeant Charles Walter Thurtell. No. 30624 who died/killed in action on 25 March 1918. He was the son of Charles William Thurtell of 4 Endway. Husband of Catherine Thurtell, of Blaengarw. Glamorgan. (Our Ref. WWI Memorial. 1918 Casualties). Also, was Elizabeth Pratt a relative of Sapper John Pratt. No.1889240, who died 17 October 1940 and is buried in St. Mary Churchyard. (Our Ref. In Remembranc Memorial. 1940 Casualties).
