I believe that the original site of Hopes Green Post Office was where the Belgravia Florist now is. That explains why, up until the 1970s at least, there was a pillar box and a telephone box there.
This was the original site of Hopes Green before it “moved” further along the High Road.

I used to work at Burnett’s chemist in the 60’s.
