Seaside Hat for Post Box

The anonymous knitter who knits the Christmas and Easter hats for Benfleet Post Boxes has a new hat for Summer 2021 on the corner of  St Marys Close and the High Road. The hat celebrates the seaside and has various elements,

People on the beach including a child with a bucket and spade, a child eating an ice cream, a sunbather and a mermaid?

The sea creatures include a pufferfish, two clownfish, a crab, a porpoise, two octopus and various other sea life.

On the yellow beach with the blue sea lapping at its edge, we have a beach hut, deckchairs, handbags, parasols and various ice creams and lollies.

Go and see it on your way to the railway station.
