The Kennall Club, Victoria House Corner

Lee Barnard writes, “I recently made a comment about the above on another post. The Kennall Club was a private member club on Victoria House Corner.

Here is a news clipping from 1963 referring to a fire that pretty much destroyed the roof and severely damaged the interior of the building”.

Does anybody else have information about this Club that they could share with us? I must admit that I had never heard of it, and I have lived in Benfleet since 1963 – [Ed.]
