I’m researching the history (there’s not much) of Holt Farm School, in Ashingdon. It opened in September 1955.
Whilst the neighbouring estate was built by CS Wiggins, there’s no proof that Wiggins went on to build the school.
We’ve since learned that a Mr Marshall bought the farmland called Holt Farm, back in?? He died in ???
Could this be Mr N Marshall?
Could be this connection here, possibly with link to CS Wiggins?

Could he have bought on spec and sold on to Wiggins?
Which is why someone told me that he used to play on that land when he was a youngster – overgrown? – because there was a gap in time to when that piece of land was finally sold on?
Was it sold on to Wiggins?
