Oakfield Road (between Kents Hill Road and Southview Road). This photo was taken about 1963. When we moved in the road was unmade and you could not drive down to Southview as it was overgrown.
Looking towards Kents Hill Road, the houses were still being built.

Couldn’t have been many Auto Unions in Benfleet in those days. Quite a rare car!
