On the 75th Anniversary of VE Day on the 8th May 2020 some of the residents of Kimberley Road held a socially distanced Street Party. There was music, talk and laughter, aided by cake and refreshments. A good time was had by all.

What a great day. These pictures certainly capture the happiness our family felt to be outside the front of our house for a change, seeing friends and neighbours for the second time in a week. The first time being Thursday, at 8pm, to clap the NHS during Lockdown.
This was the 75th anniversary of VE Day remembered in style. Those who died and those who survived – we thank you all for our freedom.
